  1. Wow! That would make them slow down. Too bad it's so expensive. Some visitors don't realize they cannot beat the gate by following some other driver that is going through. I recently had to tell one of my visitors who I was in the car with to really slow down because the gate comes down fast after each car. This goes for both sides.

  2. Would you really want such a device installed? Did you watch the video? Imagine the injuries such a system would inflict on a senior who did nothing more than driving distracted or not seeing the gate in front of them. Perhaps a signal light that would signal red when the gate is down would be a more appropriate idea.

  3. You are right on this one ejs2283. It would cause injuries. Also, if this person was driving in regular traffic and was distracted or not seeing the car in front of them they would get hurt too and also the car they hit. All drivers should be defensive in driving at all times. Your car is a weapon! If you get easily distracted you shouldn't be driving.

  4. Are the gate crashers held responsible for replacing the gate? If not, why not?

  5. Hi Mejen,

Yes, each gate crasher is invoiced $30.00, unless they "hit and run", in which case they are invoiced $80.00.
