Palm Beach International Airport
-
Beginning on July 8, 2012, the Palm Beach County Department of Airports (DOA) will begin a project to rehabilitate the primary air carrier runway, Runway 10L-28R, at Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA).
-
Runway 10L-28R is 10,000 feet in length and provides the primary arrival and departure surface for both air carrier and general aviation (GA) aircraft operating into and out of PBIA.
-
At the present time, the project is scheduled to be complete in early November 2012, prior to the holiday travel season.
-
During the construction period, there will be numerous nightly closures of Runway 10L-28R, resulting in the occasional use of the crosswind runway, Runway 14-32, to accommodate those aircraft utilizing the airport late at night or early in the morning.

wondering what the UFO hovering and landing pattern is during the rehab? Even wrapping my head in foil, I still hear all the action overhead ----guess I need the grill heavy duty Reynolds wrap these days - both to block out airplane noise and all the ridiculous gossip and misinformation by the rabble rousers.
