ReplyDeleteWe lost Cable and Internet access in Stratford L & M 1AM Monday (8/27). We didn't get it back until around 9AM this morning (8/28). We are thankful we had power anyway. We have lots of DVDS and tapes we watched. This shows us how we depend on our TVs. Yes, we do have a boombox that has a flat screen tv, dvd, cd and radio which also runs on 8 D batteries. At least we were able to get the news and a few programs.
ReplyDeleteWe were spared major power outage with Isaac. If I remember correctly with Wilma, Oct 30th, 2005, C.V. was without power for 10 long hot sticky days...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I held on to my antennea for one of my small digital tv's. I didn't need to hook up my little black box. My association could check the doppler, CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox.
