JAMAICA HIGH SCHOOL 1955 - THE CLEFTONES - LITTLE GIRL OF MINE

You would have to be a New York Ex-pat and Jamaica High School student to really remember this one! How many of you do?

    We remember and have the Cleftones CD. My husband and I have so many of the Doo Wop oldie cds which are priceless to us because of all the memories they produce.

    I remember the Cleftones but didn't know that they met at Jamaica high school. I graduated from Jamaica in 1960 and spent much of my time in the swimming pool. Great memories.

    1960 was a little late, but not by much.

    These boys would sing in the playground, in music appreciation and sang a campaign song for one of the G.O. elections, They once appeared at my Temple, Hillcrest Jewish Center; it was a long time ago, and yes indeed, Great memories.
