HONORING OUR CENTENARIANS - LET'S DO IT AGAIN
The Delray Beach Public Library is
going to honor its neighbors who have reached 100 years old. Why? The library is
celebrating its centennial this April and wants to share the fun with fellow
100 year olds.
Anyone 100 years old or older is invited to
help blow out the candles on a giant cake during the bash on April 11 at the
library. The library is eager to meet area residents who have proudly reached
the 100 year mark. The library will be hosting about
500 guests at 6:30 p.m. at the library at 100 West Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach,
33444.
If you are
100 years old and would like to attend the party free of charge please call
Diane Haines, library volunteer, at 561-455-2184 or e-mail at haineshainesd@aol.com. Proof that you
are 100 years old will be required. Others interested in attending the party
which will feature fabulous food and music may buy tickets for $100 each by
contacting Kimberley T. Burmeister, development director, at 561-266-0775 or by
e-mail at:
