What elections? When? There has been absolutely no POSTS OR BULLETINS or OTHER Instructions about this most important aspect of CV life!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was reported in the UCO Reporter
ReplyDeleteHi Jantor,
ReplyDeleteFebruary 28, 2013 at 5:42 PM,
That would be the Elections for UCO Officers, which have occurred in March, prior to the meeting of the Delegate Assembly for many years; only the Delegates vote.
Please see the current edition of the UCO Reporter, for a list of Candidates and their Bios.
The problem is that the UCO Reporter reported the Poll times as 8:30am - 9:30am, which is in error, as it should have read 8am - 9am.
So, to minimize the impact of this error, the Polls will remain open until 9:30am.

Really! you managed to miss all the months of requests for villagers to run, and requests for volunteers to work the polls, you missed the Blog flyer for your notice board on 2/21, your association president did not canvass you for recommendations? You do not read the UCO Reporter or go to Delegate Mtgs? Preparations started months ago. You do not read UCO bylaws that tell you about the process. You have not been glad handed by candidates.
ReplyDeleteBetter mark your calendar for next year.
I just reviewed my February UCO Reporter and can find no reference to an election. I am a new owner with limited knowledge of past elections or procedures.
ReplyDeleteElaineb...No, I have not been glad-handed. I am not a Delegate and do not, yet, go to Delegate meetings. Can I attend if I am not a delegate? I do read the UCO Reporter. No, I have not been canvassed for recommendations and apparently, I need to read the by-laws, which surprise/surprise, is not part of any of the paper work I received as a new owneri REALLY!
Might I add that if I was intentionally uninformed as has been inferred, I would not be posting on this blog, nor would I have been at the Zoning Commissioners hearing this morning!
ReplyDeleteThere have been a lot of distractions lately. I bet the Welcome Cmte could use some of your ideas for what newcomers need. The Welcome brochure has almost faded away.
ReplyDeleteDelegate Assembly meetings are open to all.
Hi Jantor,
ReplyDeleteFebruary 28, 2013 at 7:41 PM,
ALL Unit Owners are most welcome at Delegate Assembly.
