UCO INSTALLATION LUNCHEON - BREAKS NEW GROUND
on a beautiful march day with the sun shining and the weather just right for a party the United Civic Organization of Century Village held it's annual installation luncheon.
not as before in a fancy hotel but in our very own clubhouse party room. there were folks there from all stripes. politians, attorneys, management companies ,WPRF, and let us not forget our own residents. everyone was dressed up and looked great.
the chair of the event, Pat Sealander, barefoot and all ,did one spectacular job arrainging for this and hosting it. her committee worked diligently and each and every one of them deserves a great big thank you.
Judge Alvarez swore in the new electees and a couple of the old ones that were re-elected.
the food was very good catered by Carrabbas. personally i went back for seconds of the ceasar salad.
all in all the atmosphere was one of conviviality and friendship. everyone i spoke with said this was the way it should always be. in the clubhouse partyroom. it was easy to get to and everyone knew where the bathrooms were.
