ACCOMPLISHMENTS VS THE BIG LIE - YOU DECIDE MARCH 7, 2014
-
My opponent and her supporters, whose stock in trade consist of suing UCO and disrupting meetings, call me names. They accuse me of various concocted crimes which when taken together are outrageous. Why; because they have no record upon which to claim accomplishment. My opponent believes she can walk in, a tabula rasa of non service on any committee. Until declaring her Candidacy, she attended no UCO meetings, so she arrives in the public forum devoid of any service to our Village.

The following brochure capsulizes my track record in life and in CV - so my fellow unit owners, you decide; who do you want to lead UCO forward in the next two years:

ReplyDeleteDave, you're the best!
ReplyDeleteHi Dave. I am confident you will win, and will keep CV moving forward. And hopefully you will not have to put up with some of wackos running for the Executive Board (you folks know who you are)...
ReplyDeleteHi Peter,
ReplyDeleteFebruary 11, 2014 at 7:38 PM,
Yes,she is trying to pack the EB.
Dave Israel
Wackos aside, let's hope we can get rid of the mean spirited, rude people who invade our meetings and try to upset the apple cart.
ReplyDeleteI e-mail back and forth with some boyhood friends, including one who lives on Cape Cod. I recently sent them (for any interested in reading our blogs) the URLs for Dave's and Olga's blogs. The following is what my friend on the Cape wrote in response to reading the blogs:
ReplyDelete"I had a friend who was a selectman in Yarmouth for many years before he “had enough.” Every year during the annual budget, meetings a group of the townspeople would speak about how the “Selectmen squander the poor taxpayer’s money on frivolous items” and they would also accuse the Selectmen of having a secret stash of money hidden away. At the time, Yarmouth had about a $25 million budget. With something of this size, you can always find something or someone that isn’t perfect so this group would latch onto it and complain at length. But… they would never offer solutions.... Maybe it’s some people's version of a hobby."
Lovely brochure showing a man who has led our Village well and who hopefully will continue to serve us as president of UCO after the upcoming election. The dedication he shows is immeasurable.
ReplyDeleteBravo David for sticking up for the majority of CV residents who appreciate everything that you do for us. Nevermind the nay-sayers; they will do themselves in sooner or later. We need you to continue your good works.
ReplyDeleteA great big thank you.
Can all owners vote on March 7th or can only Delegates vote?
ReplyDeleteIn my 10 years living in CV Dave is the first President to have open meetings for all committees. His e-mailing of minutes has kept me informed of all the committee meeting I am unable to attend. I hope all the Delegates are aware that they don't have to vote for 10 candidates for the Executive Board. Pick and choose carefully! GO DAVID!!
ReplyDeletejOYCE
WAY TO GO DAVID!! ANOTHER TERM AND MORE IMPROVEMENTS WITH MR. ISRAEL!!
ReplyDeleteONLY Delegates can vote. Be sure that your delegate knows how you feel.
ReplyDeleteAmen to what "concerned unit owner" said, and glad you are aboard, Clarence H. With regard to "packing the Executive Board," remember you can BULLET when voting. Olga and Esther (I think it was these two) both expressed "outrage" on their blog about my suggestion to bullet if you think it wise. The fact is bulleting can work both ways and it is often RESPONSIBLE voting.
ReplyDeleteThe malcontents' think has a lot of stink!
ReplyDeleteDavid:
ReplyDeleteYour accomplishments and devotion
speak for itself. Continue the
Journey..you have our support...
David:
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question as to who
do we want to lead CV for the next
two years we want the best and the
best is you David.
Getting back to Mike's Feb. 11 comment: The inside of the brochure you see on the blog will be a half-page ad (in color) in the paper. The only difference is that the ad will have "Moving the Village Forward" at the top, and along the bottom the voting information (time and place––with correct ending time of 9:30).
ReplyDeleteExcellent ,
ReplyDeleteDave's slate should be sent to every condo or made known to all delegates.
