CANDIDATE SUTOFSKY APPEARS TO SUPPORT SOLOMON & KARPF LAWSUIT - "THAT IS WHAT INSURANCE IS FOR"

-
At the Candidates Forum, Esther Sutofsky was asked what was her position on the S & K law suits totaling $5,392,000.00. She refused to answer, nor to indicate, how if elected, she would deal with this existential threat to UCO!
-
on another Internet site, she responded as follows:
"UCO is insured. That is what insurance is for and a raise in rates will be pennies on the bill per resident."
-
This concept that insurance is free money, is ethically shaky and in fact in this case is not accurate. Should these frivolous law suits be awarded the fantastic sums sought, it is likely that UCO would be deemed un-insurable; and thus would cease to exist.
-
Ms. Sutofsky, who appears to support this law suit, or at least will not disavow it, does not deserve your vote; nor does Mr. Karpf a co plaintiff in both law suits who has the chutzpah to run for Executive Board.
-
Send both these candidates the right message on March 7, 2014 - do not reward their behavior with your votes!

  1. Lawsuits are always unpleasant and very costly. It shows Esther's lack of experience to not care if we all pay pennies for this lawsuit. Please go into your own pocket and not mine to pay for this lawsuit Esther.

  4. Elaine, thanks for the info. I know for a fact that some of the unit owners in my association and other associations can't afford to pay $254. They are barely making ends meet. Hopefully, we will win the case. I am so surprised that one of them are running for office in UCO. Shame, shame on you. Suing UCO is suing yourself.
