Just want to clarify something I read on another blog. UCO experience is not a requirement. I ran for the Executive Board two years ago. I had no UCO experience at the time other than attending many committee meetings where not only did I learn but was able to voice my opinion. My experience up to that point was being a member of the Wellington G Board, attending Wellington Federation meetings and being a delegate.
ReplyDeleteHi Concerned Unit Owner,

UCO experience is NOT a mandatory requirement. If you have some, note it on the application, along with any other relevant experience you may have.

Hi all,
ReplyDeleteThanks to Anita, Ruth and CUO for stepping up!
Dave Israel
David that's what I wrote: UCO experience is NOT a requirement.
ReplyDeleteWould UCO add two more requirements: if you have been thrown out of a Delegate meeting and/or yelled out "Heil Hitler" in the past 12 months, you cannot run this time around....
