Re: "... baseless.. nasty, uninformed and disruptive ..."
ReplyDeleteKeep your dignity by not descending to vituperative denigration. Remember what George Bernard Shaw wrote: ""I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it." -
Well, I did not think of calling them "pigs." Nasty, uninformed and disruptive work well enough.
ReplyDeleteAtually, many that Did vote
ReplyDeletethe Budget down, happen to have
"Financial" Backgrounds...so before you issue your blanket statements,
know of what you speak!
Bettie,Your such a kidder. : )
ReplyDeleteMike:
ReplyDelete2 CPA's ( current ) in addition to others, including myself with degree's in accounting, could not in good conscience advise their Association's to accept the revised (multiple times)edition.
One need not be a CPA to prepare a budget, however one needs to provide explanations, etc., when requested to do so.
NB: Mr O'Brian, has chosen not to re- new his CPA license..therefore he legally can not use the "Title"
People with real questions should certainly get answers and they can by going to UCO before the day of the voting (as I did, thank you Mr O'Brien). However, disruptors who bring a laundry list of nitpicks based on prehistoric ideas do not want or need answers, they are only there to show off, cause confusion and cast doubt on our Officers.
ReplyDeleteHi Bettie , Let me suggest ,a person with your background might better serve the CV community by running for Treasurer. It's always better to be part of the solution than part of the problem. : )
ReplyDeleteBecause I have the background, does not mean I desire that position...
ReplyDeleteI have been the Treas. of our Assoc. for many yrs.,
My past involvements number several within this community...ask anyone who knows me..however, to cast aspersions,on those who ask for explanations,is reprehensible..in my opinion...
