PROFILE OF A SECRETARY
BOBBI LEVIN:
You want a good writer to fill a secretarial position, and
that is why Bobbi Levin would be an excellent choice for UCO Corresponding
Secretary in the coming election. Bobbi earned her B.S. degree in journalism at
top-rated Simmons College in Boston. She is bright, she is energetic, and as
she claimed in her short autobiographical sketch at the UCO elections forum,
she is "independent."
Bobbi volunteered at the UCO Reporter two years ago and
immediately fit right in. You have probably read some of the many articles she
has written for the Reporter. The Tatiana and Dominique series so many of you
have enjoyed are hers. She has written feature stories on a number of southeastern
Florida places of interest, including the Norton Museum; opinion pieces; and interviews such as the recent one with Susan Bucher,
our Superintendent of Elections. Bobbi writes in an easy-to-follow and always
interesting style. In addition, she does a great deal of copy-editing for the
paper—proofreading and fixing up what others have written so it is more
readable and more easily understood.
Bobbi has been Secretary-Editor of the Democratic Newsletter
from 2007 to the present. She is a team player and always cooperative. I
believe she will fit right in at UCO and do a great job.
PLEASE VOTE ON MARCH 4 FOR BOBBI LEVIN FOR CORRESPONDING
SECRETARY.
