    Thank you for kind remarks, Elaine. I hope Joy and Myron and the rest of the staff read them. Kudos are due too to Eva Rachesky, WPRF Administrator, and Donald Foster, the CAM, for at a moment's notice finding us a place and getting us moved—not an easy thing

    It's a tight squeeze (called "togetherness," I think) being up in Music Room A in the Clubhouse, but thankfully we all get along well. We aren't perfect, but we do the best we can for the Village and hope the result is satisfactory. The Music Room is temporary while new quarters out by the Southamptons are being constructed for us, kudos for expediting this to Dan Cruz, our able Cenvill Rec manager.

    Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to know who The Shadow was, by the way. Now I know.

      Well, I'll be, and for a moment I was thinking it was the mysterious Mr. Cruise. Sort of the way Bruce Wayne was Batman and Clark Kent was Superman. Nice URL you gave me, Dave. I think I'll listen to "The Thirty Nine Steps" sometime. I read the story a year or two ago, but as usual, given my retention, hardly remember any of it.

    I imagine you listened to "Inner Sanctum" as well, Dave. "[In scary, trembling voice] This is your host….to welcome you….into…. the INNER SANCTUM!"

    And—but probably before your time: "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings at a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane…. No, it's SUPERMAN!"

    My memory was better back in those days. What has this comment stream got to do with the Reporter??
