    Dave, thank you and the committee for all your efforts. I was a Comcast fan but after watching all the meetings on the Internet I feel the right decision was made to go with Atlantic. Comcast played their cards wrong this time by stalling. With Atlantic we got a lot for our money with premium channels included. I have the X1 box with DVR and voice remote which is awesome and so glad in 2019 we will have the same service with TIVO. It is nice that you can customize . This will be a great savings for me. I also like that they offered an Unleased Plus Internet service (250 Mbps) which I am definitely upgrading to.

    Cathy's response shows what a boon it has been for our residents to be able to see the Village boards and committees in action on TV (channels 63 and 95) and on this blog. This is almost unheard-of transparency. And yet a very few people who only criticize have claimed Dave Israel's administration has NOT been open and transparent. This is so preposterous it's like saying it's really dark outside when the midday sun is shining on a cloudless day.

    I am very pleased, at long last, to see the Atlantic Broadband contract signed. Marvelous job, David. Your efforts over the past years paid off with a great contract for 10 years.
