We want to give our heartfelt sympathy to Ms. Catherine Silver and her Family.
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful husband Howie Silver who was a past Vice President of UCO and also one of the pioneers of the Century village Computer Club, among other things he did to help our village.

Please add me to those who will miss Howie Silver. Friendly and big-hearted, for a few years I didn't get to know him, although he did a lot and was well known in the Village. I think it was while working at the Reporter I first got to know him, and then I would see him at the Computer Club and whenever I voted in elections. We were opposites politically in some respects, but it made no difference. There he would be with that big broad smile and friendly greeting. He was a friend I won't forget. ReplyDeleteCondolences to Catherine Silver and family. I got to know Howie at our Stratford Umbrella meetings. He was always there with a smile and with a wealth of information that he provided us . He will be missed.
