WALKING PATH PROTOCOL/COURTESY

For the most part, our residents are doing a great job in "social distancing" themselves from each other as we navigate the circumference of the village. However, PLEASE do not stop directly on the overpasses. Some residents are doing so as they walk and/or bicycle. Those locations are the narrowest part of the pathway around the village. They measure somewhere around 36"-48." Obviously, we cannot maintain a "social distance" of 6'-10' without having to place oneself well into the roadway. That creates an additional danger for us. So PLEASE, stop and enjoy the view 10 feet further away. You will still have a great view of the water and you will make it safer for your neighbors. If you see someone doing this, gently remind them. I am sure they were just not thinking safety at that moment. We are all in this together and have to work together to stay safe.
