MEMORIAL SERVICE

On Saturday, February 16th, from Noon to 2 PM, in Room "B" 2nd floor of the clubhouse, the
Family of the late Thelma Saltzman, would like the opportunity to meet her many friends, who
shared their loss.  Thelma, volunteered at both UCO and the REPORTER, as well as conducting
a dinner & theatre progam in the past.  To those of you had the priviledge, as I, do come and
share your memories.

On behalf of the above, I am posting the remainder of their JANUARY presentations,
 which all occur on TUESDAY, AT 10AM, in our magnificent THEATRE.
Jan. 15th - Troim & Frank Handler -  Jan 22nd - Shelley Tenzer & Friends and to close out
the month on the 29th - Cookie Blattman....
Each presentation will bring both Joy & Tears, remembering earlier times, with loved ones,
in addition to acquiring knowledge you may have never have had the opportunity to know,
so make it part of your Tuesday Mornings, from now until late March.
As stated prior to every Theatre performance, there is NO charge to attend, however,
Cash or Check contributions, are always appreciated.
Both February's and March's Schedule will appear in the UCO REPORTER, under
ORGANIZATION NEWS....

Beautification Cmte

These bougainvillea are at Windsor S and Sussex L and are cared for. The UCO Haverhill bougainvillea hedge expired and the two at the Haverhill entrance are on their way. Two words for UCO plantings, they need water and fertilizer. See you at the next Beautification Cmte meeting Feb 13th, 10am.

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners will take up the issue of rezoning the Golf Course to allow the construction of Residential housing and Commercial enterprise as follows:

The Proactive Residents Projects Committee has arranged for busing to the hearing. To ride these buses, you must sign-up in advance. Sign-Up sheets are available at UCO and the main Clubhouse.

Buses will depart the main clubhouse at 7:30 A.M.

One bus will circle the perimeter road at 7:00 A.M. to pick up anyone who does not have a ride to the Clubhouse: this bus will be clearly marked "HORIZON COACH LINES"

Fill these buses and remind  the County Commissioners what "To remain for Golf Course purposes only, in perpetuity" means!!!

Meet author Tsipi Keller, author of "The Prophet of Tenth Street."

Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach is proud to present author Tsipi Keller speaking about her latest book, The Prophet of Tenth Street. Nominated for the 2012 National Jewish Book Awards, it is the story of a man trapped in the legacy of the Holocaust and anti-Semitism.

A novelist and translator, Tsipi Keller was born in Prague, raised in Israel, and has been living in the U.S. since 1974. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Literature Award and of CAPS and NYFA awards in fiction.

Ms. Keller will be signing copies of her book immediately following the event. Registration is not required.
