TRIMMING TREES
Hi all,
A question came to me from a unit owner that is of interest to all CV residents, identification has been redacted for privacy:
“Hi David,
I need your opinion on the subject of cutting trees in Century Village. I think someone told me there are rules and regulations from either CV or the State of Florida that dictate what, how and when you can cut or trim certain species of plants/bushes/trees.
Can you provide me with any information or tell me where to get up to speed on what you can or cannot do here?
thank you,”
.....................................................................
The regulations you seek are contained in Unified Land Development Code, there is a highly readable presentation at the following URL:

If you are concerned about palms you can also read my post from Tuesday, October 20, 2009 Save our $$ - STOP Cutting Palms, (see archives). This is the first year we have actually had brown fronds on the palms, courtesy of colder weather than usual. Brown fronds may be trimmed.
ReplyDeleteNice ULDC brochure, thanks Dave.
