For Sale or Rent Signs in Condo Windows
To people who were asking about this, check your Association bylaws, most are as follows:
XIV MAINTENANCE AND ALTERATIONS
5. To show no signs, advertisements or notices of any type on the common elements or his unit, and erect no exterior antenna or aerials, except as consented to by the Board of Directors of the Associations.
It is not a UCO regulation.

Hi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteA minor elucidation, your reference is extracted from your Original Declaration of Condominium, not your Bylaws.

i think there is a ruling by rod that if the sign is in your house facing out it is ok but it cannot be on the outside of the condo.
ReplyDeleteAhah! the scan team will look into the meaning of "on" in Tennyson rulings. Thx Phyllis.
ReplyDeleteI was over-confident, no sign of Rod's ruling on signs, perhaps it was swept away in hurricane paper mush. If it does appear I will let you know.
