Malcontent Blog

When I try to go to the Malcontent's Blog or myvillageblogger etc Avast, which is my virus protector gives me this message. I think they know something!

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.myvillageblogger.blogspot.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

  1. Hi Grace,

Probably, the repugnant nature of the content, name calling and the accusations of non-existent crimes, has triggered violation of use flags, or there may be virus and malware infestation.

Heed the waning, it's not worth the risk.

  2. Hi Grace,

I have checked the BLOGGER Forum, and both Malcontent BLOGS have indeed been flagged for violation(s) of the "Terms of Use" agreement.
They should be avoided as a logical precaution.

  3. Very interesting. Though they of course will deny any such thing, it says something, doesn't it.

  4. I look at the postings on this blogsite and My Village Blogger, hoping that by comparing the two, I might actually get at a sense of the truth. I commend OUR VILLAGE for posting video of delegate meetings and, most recently of other meetings.
However, I must say that I have never ever gotten a flag or warning about My Village Blogger, nor did my own search of Blogger Forum indicate any red flags. Without direct proof (i.e. a link anyone can follow) it is a disservice to all to suggest otherwise. The best thing UCO can do for itself, as in the USA, is allow free and open discussion of CV concerns.

  5. It serves no purpose whatsoever to say I got a flag from Avast virus about the other blog if it was not true. I tried to copy and paste the original but could not. I was brought up not to lie. It has served me well all my life.
