Logo

Why does the logo have to say unofficial C V Blog ? Why not just C V Blog ? The top page just has Century Village @ in West Palm Beach, I know at delegate meeting voted this not to be offical web site for Century Village for U.C.O. Just a thought that came to me.

    Just a Typo., I think the number of Delegates present was 255.

    We will reinstitute the ladies to pick up the colored voting flyers if a Delegate leaves during proceedings; just in case there is any issue regarding votes and quorum.

    As I recall, the vote was to "cancel the BLOG". Those who presented this motion need to do a bit of research as to just what the INTERNET is all about!

    For what it's worth, again, 255 Delegates were present at the meeting. The motion required a majority of the seated members (128).
    The # of Delegates that approved the motion to discontinue the Blog and to start an official Century Village Website was 117. The motion was lost, but the presiding officer determined that it was carried. No one raised a point of order, disputing the determination of the outcome of the vote (I was just returning to the auditorium as I had to go home for medication). Therefore, even though the motion failed, and was inaccurately announced that it passed, without challenge, officially it passed. Go figure. We can make the motion to recind at the next meeting if that's important, but I'd rather see it as an "unofficial Blog". Thanks for the correction, Dave, my "midnight submissions" are sometimes "typo-friendly".
